Well, May is always such a busy, busy time of year for the Warner Family!!! We have baseball still going on (and it goes almost to the end of May), we have school winding down for the year and of course...Our anniversary, Mother's Day and lets not forget...MY BIRTHDAY!!! This year Jeff and I have been married 15 years!!! Wow time flies when you're having fun!!! LOL And I turned 40!!! I can't even believe it! I don't feel 40 at all!!! And I know I don't act 40!! But, I was born in 1971 so sure enough I am really, honestly 40 years old! I have the best friends in the world!!! They decorated my house with fun balloons and confetti, and my car too! The only thing I wasn't so sure about was the BLACK color they used!!!! I'm not THAT old!!! LOL They are awesome women and I am so thankful to call them my friends! We also went out to dinner to Olive Garden for my birthday. It was an adult only dinner so Jeff and I left the boys at home and headed out with some great friends of ours to celebrate my day! And to end the month of May(aka The month of Erin), we did our annual Lake Powell trip with awesome friends! We always look forward to this trip! I love getting away from all the craziness the end of May brings and just chill out at the lake! The wind was a little bad this trip but when the sun was out and the weather was nice, nothing beats it!!! I posted a few pics I had of some of our fun "Month of May" Now we head into June! It's summer time, boys are in some sports camps, Jeff is having back surgery, we have been seeing some summer movies and have a few places planned to go for the boys and I while Jeff is recovering from his surgery! Then, once again at the end of July, football starts!!! Thats the life in the Warner house...always busy!!! At least we can say we don't sit around and do nothing with our lives!!! LOL

Last week my brother came to visit from California. He and his wife have 2 kids...a boy and a cute little girl...3 and 2 years old. We had a lot of fun with them! We went hiking in Snow Canyon Park, we swam at the rec center and we also went up to Brianhead for a day and had a blast tubing down a HUGE hill! It was a great visit and we can't wait to do it again! Here are a few pictures of our adventures!

It has been so long since we had some family pics taken and my mom has been asking for some so I finally had some taken. (Thanks Ash) I really need to start working on this early in the fall even though we are full blown into football!

The boys are off on Christmas Break and we are loving it!! We stay up late every night and sleep in every morning!! And NO HOMEWORK!!! HAHA We already had Grandma Cheryl out to visit and we had a fun Christmas with her. Tomorrow we have Jeff's family all coming into town and I'm sure we will have an awesome weekend with them, like we always do! We have friends from California coming in next week, we will be going to a bunch of movies next week too and then we are all looking forward to a very fun New Year's Eve with good friends! We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!

Once again this year, we headed to Vegas for a Thanksgiving Football Tournament! We started this tradition last year and had a blast!!! And once again, we loved it in 2010!!! We stayed at a place that one of our coaches found online! It was a resort (timeshare) place. We each had a one bedroom with a small kitchen in it which saved tons of money cause we didn't have to go out to eat every single meal!! We all brought tons of food so that all our kids could do their normal, eat every hour routine!!! For Thanksgiving last year we all went out to eat and spent way too much money for what we got! So, with the kitchens this year we had we thought, "We can make Thanksgiving dinner!!!" It was so cool and yummy! We had turkeys in roasters, veggies, potatoes, desserts and much, much more!! At the resort, we found a banquet room up on the 10th floor that we took over with all 35 of us!! We felt very important!!! It was an awesome day filled with football family and great friends!!! The day didn't end for me for a VERY long time!!! A few of us moms headed over to Old Navy after we ate since they opened on Thanksgiving. Then, we went back to the hotel, rested for about an hour and then my friend Ashley and I hit the road about midnight and stayed out shopping until 8am!!! We got great deals but we were BEAT all day Friday!!! Overall, our 5 days of hanging out with friends, watching football and shopping was fabulous!!! And to top it all off, Tyler's team, The Demons, came home with another 6 foot trophy!! This is the 3rd this team has won over the last 2 seasons of football. Congrats Tyler and Ryan and Jacob too!! We all had a great football season! I love watching the boys play all sports but football is my favorite!!! Ok, well baseball is fun too!! Here are some pics of our fun weekend!!

Tyler's team made it to the Championship Football Game!! They are such awesome boys! Many of them have been playing together since 3rd grade! (They are now 6th graders) We didn't win this final regular season game but they played hard. It's always up in the air when it comes to playing Virgin Valley!!! But, now we are done with that on to the first of 2 tournaments! This weekend we go to Mesquite, NV for 3 days for a Youth Football Invitational. All 3 of my boys are playing in this tournament. Then we come home Sunday and head out again on Tuesday for a Thanksgiving Day tournament in Las Vegas, NV for 5 days!! Tournaments are so much fun and all the boys are looking forward to an awesome 2 weeks of MORE football!!! Then...we start basketball!!! I can't even think about that yet!!!

Summer is over!!! I can't believe how fast this summer went by! We were busy the whole time and have made some fun memories but I can't remember the summer going by so fast before like it did this year!! The boys were pretty excited to start school. The only thing they didn't like was not being able to stay up till 11 or midnight and not sleeping in till 9 or 10am!!! I agree with them on that one!!! Tyler was super excited to start 6th grade. Here in Utah, they start intermediate school in 6th grade which means they start having 6 teachers instead of just 1!! He was a little nervous, hoping to make it to each class and remember where they all were and so far so good!! And he likes his classes too!! Ryan started 4th grade!! I can't believe he only has 2 more years in elementary school!! My kids are growing up way too fast!!! He loves his teacher too and is so excited to get working! Jacob is now in 2nd grade and thinks his teacher is way cool! She is perfect for Jacob and I think it will be a great year!! Football also began the same week school did!!! All 3 boys are playing this year, so ask me at the end of the season how that went!! Practices aren't that bad cause I have some awesome friends and we carpool to 2nd, 4th and 6th grade practices. I would probably go through a tank of gas a day if we didn't do that!!! When games start September 11th every Saturday we will be watching 3 football games so that day might be a little different...I told Jeff, we will get out the big cooler every Saturday morning, fill it up with drinks and food and head out for the day!!! I am really hoping that we don't have too many overlapping games, I wonder how lucky I will be on that one!!! So, our lives are once again extremely busy, but what household with 3 boys isn't??? Just normal to us!!! And, I did fit in dinner at home for 3 of the last 4 football nights...LOVE MY CROCKPOT!!! HAHA

My mom came to visit us for a week and we thought what a fun time it would be to drive out to the Grand Canyon and see the North Rim! It was so fun!! The North Rim isn't as popular as the south rim but it is still sooo beautiful!!! I had a few times that my anxiety kicked in with the heights and when my kids get near the edge, I get the worse pain in my stomach but we all made it out alive and had an awesome time!!! HAHA

Jacob got to go have a week with grandma at her house so while he was gone, Jeff and Tyler were at scout camp. I can't believe we are on the downhill side of summer!! I always love when the boys are off from school...sleeping in, family trips, and NO HOMEWORK!!! I can't believe we only have a few weeks left! However, over the next few weeks we still have ALOT of fun things planned! Right now, Jacob is visiting grandma Cheryl in California for a week! Tyler and Jeff leave Tuesday for scout camp for 5 days. So, Ryan and I are left at home! But, we have some fun things planned as well and will eventually get out to California this week to pick up Jacob! I haven't posted for quite a while so I thought I would add some pictures of fun stuff we have been doing over the last few months...enjoy!!

Having 3 boys is crazy, wonderful, stressful, exciting and all those other emotions that boys bring. But, it also brings....SPORTS!!! We have sports year round and I wouldn't have it any other way! Not only is it fun to watch them but they are good at them! We have started all 3 boys at a young age and pretty much let them do everything. Tyler is getting to the age now that he is picking and choosing what he wants to play so he can focus more on those sports. Ryan has really opened up alot with sports this past year and he loves basektball and baseball. Jacob is still the little comedian who wants to know who is on his team before he plays...haha. They all have different ways of enjoying their sports and I love to watch them grow!! So, baseball season has started and boy is it hectic!! All 3 of them are playing and each plays 2 games a week...so add that up and you can easily tell we are at the fields EVERYDAY!! So, I have been asked for a few years if I would run the snack bar at the fields and because of other things going on I have said no (yes people, I really have said no to something!!), but I decided this year I would say yes since I am up there so much anyways. It has been a little crazy for a few nights but we have adapted!

I have snapped a few pics here and there but haven't gotten any of Tyler or Ryan playing yet...that is a goal for this week! Tyler made it up to the Majors (he is the only 5th grader on his team) but he is keeping up with them all! He hit a double the other day and did an awesome job! Ryan is in AA and Jeff is the assistant coach. He loves hanging out with dad!! Jacob is in A and is having a blast! Our good friend Chad is his coach and I am the team mom. He has so much fun playing with some of his good friends!

We had an awesome holiday season this year! 2009 ended with a bang but we are super excited for what 2010 holds for the Warner's!! We had fun with Jeff's family at Christmas this year. His 2 brothers and their families came to St. George and we had so much fun with them and the rest of Jeff's family! We also had a friend from Erin's high school come and we had so much fun with them at Jumpin Jacks and playing at our house! New Year's Eve was a blast at the Bairds' house with good food, good company and a killer rockband show!! We also got a little treat, her name is Bella and she is the cutest little lab mix you have ever seen!! It's fun for me to say to both the dog's when they are outside "Come on in girls" (key word "girls") We also painted alot during this break! We painted the front entry way and also the computer room! I love them both!! The 17 days of vacation for the boys is almost over now and we will back on our normal routine of having a bedtime and getting up early for school! I love having the boys home for breaks! We love to hang out with each other and have fun doing things during the days together! But, before we know it, we will have spring break and then summer!! We have some fun things planned still for the winter though, some sledding trips, still more basketball and a few other things we are all looking forward to!!

We have had so much fun so far this December and Christmas isn't even here yet!! We ended November with an awesome football tourney in Vegas. We also started December with another football tourney here at home! The Demons did well again this tourney!

We started basketball games! Both Ryan and Tyler play really well and always score in each game! Ryan has really become quite the basketball player! He loves playing!! We got up all our Christmas decor! We have quite a bit so it takes a few days to get everything inside and out put up but we did it without a problem! Erin had a fun cookie exchange at our house where we had close to 30 people show up! We had ALOT of cookies in the house for a while...but it didn't take long for all the boys to eat them up!! Ryan is in the school choir and they performed a few places throughout the area. We watched them at a tree lighting ceremony where we froze!! And then their Christmas concert at school was fantastic! Those teachers do a great job with those kids!! One week it was so cold and the news was predicting snow! The boys were sure we would have another snow day so they planned the day out...but it didn't snow! However, we did get some snow...on a Saturday!! Not enough they would have cancelled school but it was better than nothing!!

Having boys you never know what is going to happen but I guess we couldn't make it through the year without a broken bone! Jacob fell playing dodgeball in PE at school and broke his hand! He has a cast on for 2 weeks. He is doing pretty well dealing with it!

One of our favorite traditions each December is to go out to Tuacahn for their Festival of Lights! We have gone for quite a few years now. This year we went with our good friends the Bairds. They have 4 boys and a girl so you can just imagine all the boys!! We watched the Live Nativity Program (which by the way, all 7 boys didn't make a sound!!) and then we had some fun having hot chocolate, seeing Santa and taking some pics that Ashley and I wanted but the boys, all 9 of them (including our husbands) weren't too happy about!!

But, we got them and all was fun! We still have Christmas and New Years! We all love this time of year! We look forward to seeing family and friends, hanging out with each other and sleeping in cause of no school!!! And don't let me forget...NO HOMEWORK for 2 weeks for the boys!!! Yippee!!!

Tyler is on a football tournament team and has been so excited about this turkey day tournament for quite some time. They praticed so hard, with one week having back to back pratices (5th grade team for 2 hours and then driving over to Desert Hills for another 2 hours with the tournament team, named Desert Hills Demons) It was a little rough, I have to admit, a few times but we made it through!! So, we all headed to Las Vegas not really knowing what to expect. I really think when we headed up to the weigh in room, the look on the boys faces was "wow these kids are big!! There were teams from California, Arizona, New Mexico and even a team from Alaska!! So, we weighed in and played our first game at 3:15 on Thanksgiving. An hour before the game our good friends were in a car accident and it really shook us all, thinking "Oh no, this can't be happening" but they were all ok, thankfully and we still went on with the game. The car wasn't ok, but all 7 of them were and that is what matters. So, the first game starts and within about the first 5 minutes of the game, we score a touchdown!!! After that, our boys were on fire!!! They played so awesome!! It was so fun to watch them being a team and playing so well together. All that hard work and pratices payed off!! We ended that first game winning!! The team we played had played together for 3 years and had only lost 2 games..well now 3 games!!! The boys were excited and couldn't wait until the next game!! We left and found a Thankgiving dinner in Vegas (nothing to write home about) but we were together as a family and thats what mattered! The next morning we had some time to hang out before the game and Tyler was so funny! He was in the shower in the hotel singing the "Thunder" song getting all ready!! He was ready mentally for this game. The thing about this tournament was they had sealed in 2nd place with the win but if they could win this game they could get the gold (1st place). So, we played at 1:30 on Friday. The boys were ready!! After a few upset parents on the other team (I don't think they were used to loosing) we played a second game winning this one too!! In both games during the tournament, we had no other team score against us!! We thought the first game was good, the 2nd was even more exciting!!! These boys played so well!! And they were so happy after the game, they all dogpiled each other and some even had a few tears of happiness in the eyes (although they would never admit it!!) Overall, it was a fantastic weekend!! It was so great watching Tyler be part of something great and having some of his really good friends with him along the way! We have one more tournament coming up this weekend and the boys can't wait!!! Take note of how big the trophy is!! It was about 6 feet tall!! Way to go Desert Hills Demons!!!

Ok, so I haven't been very good about blogging lately so I thought I would just throw a few pics up here. We had Halloween, it was alot of fun! Tyler and Ryan were both punk Zombies and Jacob was Shaggy from Scooby Doo. We had the parade at school and then fun trick or treating around the neighborhood. Tyler and Ryan hung out with friends and went trick or treating with them but Jacob and I went around with Grandma Cheryl. All three boys made out big time on the candy!!

Football is still going! Both Tyler and Ryan's teams made it to the playoffs so we have the 1st playoffs tomorrow. Tyler is also on a tournament football team, they first play Thanksgiving weekend in Vegas. Tyler is really excited about that! Ryan likes football but is ready to get going with basketball! Jacob's team played really well this season. He is ready to play tackle next year (I'm not sure about that yet!!)

Speaking of Jacob, he lost another tooth! And the other front one is loose, so I think we will be having a toothless little boy for Chith-muth (Christmas).

Tyler and the 5th grade at his school were in the Veteran's Parade. They walked the parade route and then were part of a program after wards. They all did a great job, what a great way to remember the veteran's and those fighting in the war today!

I think we made it through all the sickness! Jeff and Tyler first got the flu and then Jacob got it. Ryan and I have been lucky enough not to get anything!!

Football has officially started!! For the boys and for NFL! We are excited for both! We have 3 games every Saturday! It's makes for a long day but we love it! I do have to admit it will be a little nicer once it cools down a bit! So, this last Saturday all 3 boys teams won!! It was a great way to start the season - On top of both Tyler's and Ryan's birthday parties! Tyler and his friends had a night time party, had a scavenger hunt, played night games and ate banana splits! Ryan and his friends went to the bowling alley for some bowling fun! We were so ready for it to be Sunday so we could relax!! Now we wait for Monday night to see how our favorite team, San Diego Chargers do!!

Last night was a big night for 2 of my boys in Cub Scouts! Ryan finished up with Wolf and moved onto Bear! He is really excited about moving on and for the day camp in a few weeks! Tyler also moved on to Boy Scouts! He completed the requirements for The Arrow of Light and is now an official Boy Scout! He is really excited to get started! He got a fur with all the awards he earned while being a cub scout! It's already up on his wall in his room! I'm so proud of both of you boys!!

Ok, so I wasn't here for quite a few things during August, as many of you know!! But, Jeff was super good at taking pictures for me so we would have them (and he also sent them to my phone up in Alaska!) I didn't have my camera with me in Alaska (I was a little rushed to get out the door and one of them was left in my car up the mountain at girl's camp!!) But, my brother took some pictures of Alaska one day when we took a drive that was beautiful!!! I saw moose, mountain goats, bald eagles and lots of other wildlife. I will post some when I get them from him! But, one of the big things I missed (besides 2 of my 3 boys b-days!!) was the 1st day of school!! It was 2 hours EARLIER in Alaska than here so I made sure to set the alarm and got up really early to call my boys before they headed out for school. And, I called as soon as they got home to hear all about it! Jeff took some pics at back to school night the night before school started but only got one the next morning! Oh well, at least we got 1!! I have been getting tons of questions about my dad, he is doing good considering all that happened!! He is home in California and resting and taking it easy. Thank you to everyone who helped Jeff with the boys and texted me and were always checking up on things!! 3 weeks was a long time to be gone but now I'm home and back to normal! (whatever normal is!!)

Jeff's brother Matt, his wife Christine and their little girl, Jordyn (my cute little niece!!) came to visit for a few days last week! We went boating with them, Christine and I got to go to lunch WITHOUT the boys and we had bar-b-ques and some fun swimming time at grandma's! Jordyn even convinced Uncle Jeff to let her paint his toes! Of course I got a pic of that, I'm sure I will never get another one!! And she picked a wonderful light pink! It was so cute!

Jeff's son Zack came to visit for a few days and it just so happened he turned 18 on Friday!! I can't believe he is 18! I first met Jeff right before Zack's 3rd birthday!! We had alot of fun while he was here. We went out boating and took a good friend of ours, Jordan, who is also 18 and who Zack has known for most his life! All the boys had tons of fun! I was overruled by the 6 boys on the boat!

Zack wanted to go camping for his birthday so we packed everything back up and went again! (We had only been home 3 days from the last camping trip!) We went back to Navajo Lake but on Friday (Zack's b-day) we went up the road a little to Aspen Mirror Lake to fish. Zack kept saying he wanted to fish and boy did he get his birthday wish! After about 3 hours we had 16 fish on the stringer!! Zack was pretty excited about that! After he caught his limit he helped his little brothers, they all love it when he helps them! We headed back to camp and had fun roasting marshmallows, hanging out in the lake and enjoying the time. We headed back home a day early because of the weather, it started its normal summer monsoon and we didn't want to be caught in it. Sunday we spent time with grandma, swimming and taking all the fish the boys caught and made yummy fish tacos!! They were really good! We had alot of fun with Zack and can't wait to see him again!

We had so much fun camping for 5 days at Navajo Lake! Our good friends, The Sandberg's joined us too and we have some fun memories with them. We camped right by the water, which was good since the boys were fishing, swimming and just cooling off in the water most of the trip! One of the days, all of us went to the Mammoth Caves on Cedar Mountain. After all the years I have gone past the turn off on our way to the Warner Ranch, we have never stopped there! And now that we did, I can't believe it took this long for us to go! There are caves you can walk through (with flashlights!!). Some areas of the caves you actually have to crawl!! The boys had so much fun in the caves and want to go back soon! We had such a fun time at Navajo and plan to go back, possibly this week!! We love to camp and like the time to hang out as a family without all the interruptions you get at home! However, we also realized that Tyler and Trevor might be little pyros!! haha Sorry Heather, had to say it since I have a pre-fire pic! haha Thanks for joining us Sandberg's!

We took the boat out yesterday and had a blast! Tyler brought his friend Zak and Ryan brought his friend Zane. Jacob said he and I were friends! Jeff was just the driver... We all had alot of fun!The boys tubed and we also anchored at the cliff jumps and the boys had fun jumping from the rocks. The water felt so good since it was 104 degrees outside!! Most everytime we stopped to change tube riders, the boys, and Jeff and I, jumped in to cool down!

This past week was very busy! Jacob had a birthday and turned 7! I can't believe my baby is 7! He had a fun birthday party with lots of friends at a new park in town. They played with water balloons, played on the splash pad, in the park, had ice cream cone cakes and otter pops! He had alot of fun with all his friends. Jeff's oldest son came out to visit for a few days and we had a lot of fun swimming and hanging out with him. Then, Friday we headed up to the ranch. We had a lot of fun hanging out with family, shooting on the range there and of course fishing!! On the 4th there was a HUGE bar-b-que and then a fireworks show! (The kind the city puts on!!) Jeff's brother and nephew hooked it all up in the cow fields and we sat in the barn and had a front row seat to an awesome show! We always have so much fun at the Warner Ranch!

Jeff and I went on a cruise for 7 days to the Western Caribbean. By ourselves, no kids! The boys got to spend 13 days at "camp grandma" and had lots of fun!
We flew to Tampa, Florida and had about half a day to hang out there before we headed for the ship. Then, after the cruise, we had 2 days in Florida before heading back to California where we stayed another 4 days before coming home! We were gone for 2 1/2 weeks, a long time to be away from home, but had fun every second!!
Our stops on the ship were Grand Cayman Islands, Belize, Central America and Isla Roatan, Honduras. It was beautiful everywhere we went!! But, our favorite was Honduras! It was so beautiful and the people were so nice! We snorkeled in all three stops, we also kayaked, ate and shopped!!! We had so much fun on our much needed vacation!!
It is so hard to choose pictures to put on here! We took over 700 pictures over the 2 1/2 weeks we were gone! But, here are a few with some spectacular sites we saw as well as a few of us! We also took just under 100 underwater pictures so I will post those when I get them put on the computer! You can also see more pics on my facebook page!
I also want to shout out a big "thank you" to Amy Pratt at ytb travel for all her help planning this trip! Thanks Amy for being a great travel agent and friend!!

Memorial Day Fun

We had a fun Memorial Day! Some good friends of our had a Bar-b-que. We hung out at their house, had yummy food, the kids jumped on the tramp, caught horny toads and lizards behind their house and played on the Rhino! Erin even drove the Rhino - A new wish list toy!!! We had a fun time with the Sandberg's, Fuchs and Richins. Thanks to Ang and Kyle for hosting!!

Renaissance Fair

On Saturday we went out to the fair grounds for the Renaissance Fair. Ryan spent the day boating with a friend but Tyler, Jake, Jeff and I went to the fair. We hung around a bit and the boys had fun with the archery, rope making and the jousting show. They even got some souvenirs!

Jacob had his Kindergarten Program today! It was very cute. They each could dress up as what they want to be when they grow up, if they wanted to. Jacob decided he wanted to be an athlete. So, he borrowed Tyler's football jersey and had to get the black under his eyes cause he said that's the way the Charger's do it! Can you tell my favorite NFL team?? haha So, now that was my last child to go through Kindergarten. It's a bittersweet feeling! But, I am so proud of Jacob!

Track Meet

Yesterday was the school track meet! It was lots of fun. All the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders competed. Tyler ran in the 100, 400 and 800. He did well considering he still had stitches in between his big toe and second toe! He said by the 2nd time he ran, it started hurting and you could tell from his facial expressions that was true!! Overall, he and all his friends did a super job!

This afternoon we discovered a little visitor at our home. He was up above the front door up in the corner of the stucco. It was a bat!! My boys, of course, thought it was cool! Ryan even wanted scouts to come over and see it. He stayed there all day and when we got home after dark, he was gone. I was happy about that, the boys not so much. It was cool to look a though, from a distance! The boys can't wait to wake up in the morning and check outside to see if he is back :)

Tyler's Baseball Tournament

Tyler's tournament team (Thunder) played this week during spring break. They played two games on both Thursday and Friday. They played well considering they have been practicing together as a team for about 2 months and some teams they played have been together for two years! It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to watching this team play again next month!

We had alot of fun down at the river by our house tonight. There was a big bonfire and the boys got to make smores and run around by the river! It was fun to hang out with friends and enjoy the wonderful weather we are having right now! The rest of the day we were at the first day of Tyler's 2 day baseball tournament. He played two games for a total of 7 hours that we were hanging out at the ball fields!! Tomorrow the games aren't until the after noon but he has two games back to back! I will put some pics of this tournament up after tomorrows games!

Baseball, Soccer and Basketball OH MY!

It is funny how when sports overlap sometimes they REALLY overlap! So, here it goes: Tyler and Ryan finished basketball but have now started baseball so this Saturday we had two baseball practices back to back. Then Jacob had his LAST basketball game but 2 hours before that he had his FIRST soccer game. This was all on one Saturday by the way! We literally had sports going on from 9am - 6:30pm with a few breaks in between. Now the sports are soccer and baseball. By the way, Tyler is on two baseball teams because of one being a travel/tournament team so he has 4 practices a week, Ryan has two and Jacob has two, this doesn't include the baseball games! Then you add scouts, playtime and mom and dad time. And then there is that small little detail of homework we have to fit in. I love it though, it keeps my boys active and encourages so many different experiences for them. (Don't ask me to say that again right smack dab in the middle of baseball season though, you might not get the same response!!) So, here are a few pictures of Jacob's last basketball game and 1st soccer game. The soccer game was funny because Jeff had been working with him on NOT touching the ball in soccer. We talked about it all the way to the soccer field in fact about putting his hands behind him if he thought he was going to touch the ball. Well, the first quarter he ended up being goalie and he didn't get that he could actually pick up the ball while playing goalie! It was so funny! Jeff ended up walking over and explaining it to him and then he got it and actually caught a ball that was about to go in and the other team DID NOT score! His team ended up winning their first game, Jacob loves soccer and can't wait to play again. Thanks Shondell and Alisha for being awesome coaches!

So, I know it has been a while since I made a post! Thanks Ang for reminding me! We have been so busy! Basketball ending, baseball starting and soccer starting too! Jake has his last basketball game Saturday but two hours before that he has his first soccer game! That should be interesting! Tyler made a travel baseball team and their first tournament is during spring break in a few weeks. He is also playing little league as well as Ryan. Practices have just begun for those teams. I have been working hard getting ready for the school event in April and just my normal day to day stuff! Jeff and I have both started our workout regime getting ready for our cruise in June. I am getting super excited for my spring break chore! I am redoing the boys bedrooms! Sorry nothing more exciting than that! There Ang, are you happy? :)

So, today was a complete unproductive day at my house. Jeff and I woke up and lounged around the house. Did absolutetly NOTHING!!! At one point, Jeff said he needed to run to the store, I didn't think anything about it, afterall, I was comfortable on the couch watching a movie. About 15 minutes later, he walks in to my butt laying on the couch looking marvelous with no makeup, sweats and a tee shirt and my hair looking...ok not even gonna go there...and he hands me these roses!! Even after being together for 15 years and married for 13, he still gets me roses!! Thanks babe!

And just to let you know, I finally did get up, took a shower, got dressed and put makeup on and went to dinner and a movie with some good friends!! Thanks Diana, Howie, Ang and Kyle! It was a fun Valentine's!

I went to California this weekend and hung out with my dad but I also got to meet up with some HS friends! Some of them I haven't seen in 20 years! We had alot of fun, we went to dinner and talked for over 4 hours! There's alot to catch up on when it's been 20 years!! We had alot of fun and can't wait to do it again, and with even more friends who couldn't make it this time. We also have our 20 year reunion coming up this summer that is going to be a blast! Jeff made it through the weekend, the concert was good but they didn't make it through the whole thing. I put some pics of the California coast line, I tool these pics from the plane yesterday on my way home. The coast line was so pretty at the end of the day and alot of people on the plane noticed it as we pulled back inland to head for Vegas. So many cameras started going off at the same time mine did! I'm from Cali and if you can get a good coastline pic, get it cause it doesn't last too long!

This Weekend!!!

This weekend is going to be so much fun!! I am heading out to the airport Friday morning and flying to California. I am going to hang out with my dad, probably go to the movies (we both LOVE movies) and just having fun! Then Saturday I am meeting up with a few friends from high school for dinner. I haven't seen them in 20 years!! Yes, I graduated in 1989, 20 years ago this June! I can't believe that it has been 20 years! Our high school reunion is this summer so I can't wait to see so many more friends from 20 years ago. And thanks to Facebook, I have already been in contact with alot of them! After Saturday night, my dad and I have some plans for Sunday and then I will be flying home Sunday night. Just a quick trip but I do this about every 3 months or so and it is so relaxing, a little break for me and I get to hang out with my dad.
On the other hand, I chose the wrong weekend!!! Hinder is coming to St. George!! I like Hinder's music and I would so be going to this concert if my plane tickets hadn't already been bought for California! BUT, thanks to one of my daycare kids parents who is one of the stage crew for Hinder, Jeff got ALL ACCESS tags to the whole concert!! Can you believe it? SO, Jeff, who doesn't even really know Hinders music is taking the 3 boys to the concert this Saturday! I am sooo jealous! He is getting in the concert and sitting up by the stage and then has all access to the back after the concert! Cool huh? Jacob thinks he is pretty cool that he is only 6 and gets to see Hinder in concert and go back stage to see them! I told Jeff he is in big trouble if he forgets the camera!!!
So, as you can see, the Warner's have a busy, but fun, weekend! On top of me being gone, Jeff has the responsibility to get the boys to 2 birthday parties, scouts and a basketball game! Can he do it??? I think he can, and he has phone numbers of a few of you reading this so if you get a call, would you please give him a hand? hehehe

All three boys played basketball this year. Tyler and Ryan played in a different league than Jacob so theirs started in December and finished today. Jacobs just started last week and we go until March. So, only two weeks did we attend 3 games in ONE day! Tyler and Ryan did awesome this year, both scored baskets and had lots of fun. Jacobs team is so fun to watch! They are just learning the game and do some of the funniest moves! Especially my son! I think he is using a few of his wrestling techniques to block the other team! But, he is very, very excited about his jersey! So, a little more basketball, then Jacob starts soccer in March then all three play baseball! I am also so proud of Tyler! He tried out for a competitive travel baseball team and made the team!! So, he is not playing soccer this year but playing the travel team (tournaments are once a month) and then little league too. He loves athletics and not only playing the game but being a part of a team. I am so proud of all three of my boys! You know I am always there rooting you on!

I haven't posted in awhile! FB is driving me crazy!!! So, I thought I would post these pics of my two older boys. Tyler earned the artist Webelo pin and Ryan earned his Wolf! Earning the Wolf is a big deal. He now only has the acheivements to earn until he advances on to a Bear in August. I love the scouting program, it teaches the boys so much and prepares them so much for life. Thanks to Justin and Diana for helping Tyler and Ryan!

This past Friday we headed up to Salt Lake City for the Monster Trucks and Motocross show! We had so much fun!! We got into Salt Lake City just as it started to snow. We shopped in a few stores, grabbed some dinner and when we walked outside, there was already about 4 inches on the ground. We got settled in the hotel and when we woke up the next morning there were about 6 inches. (And we were only downtown!) The mountains got blasted! The boys liked it, but all three stated how happy they are that we live in a place that doesn't snow much. I think memories of shoveling quickly came to their minds from living up there for two years!! Saturday morning we woke up, found a place to eat breakfast and headed for the E Center. The boys were so excited they could barely handle it! We had pit passes so we got to go in 2 hours before the show started. All three boys got autographs from all 6 of the monster truck drivers and all 8 of the motocross riders. They even got to ride in a monster truck!! Also in the pit was a WWF star. He hosts a WWF show on Monday nights. I even got to put on the crown cause he told the boys I was a cool mom! So, after two hours hanging out with all the riders and drivers, we ran to the car to put all our souvenirs (and we had alot!) away and then got to our seats. We had awesome seats smack in the middle of the E Center and only up 10 rows! Our seats were perfect! The monster truck drivers raced, the motocross riders freestyled over a HUGE jump and then some local truck drivers came and raced around the track. That was funny! Overall, the show was great! All three boys had such a great time and want to go back up north for the Monster Jam in February. We haven't decided if we will go to that or head to Las Vegas for the freestlye motocross. The boys liked the Monster Trucks but they loved it when the motocross riders jumped, flipped, did no handers and all sorts of tricks over the jump, which did I already say was HUGE???!!! It was such a fun time for the two days we were gone but boy was it cold! It was nice to get back to our warm 45 degree weather! hahaha

A Wonderful Christmas!

Christmas was wonderful this year! We stayed in Utah and didn't do the drive to California. We had just done it at Thanksgiving so that was a nice break! Jeff's brother's came into town and we all spent Christmas Eve together with the kids so hyper and excited for Santa to come! My niece is just the cutest thing and Jake and her decided to entertain us all with princess christmas music, ballet dancing and Jake's breakdancing. It was so funny and I have really good blackmail pictures for when he gets older!! The boys woke up (REALLY EARLY!!) to find what Santa left. Tyler got an IPOD Nano, and Ryan and Jacob got new bikes. We opened a bunch of gifts at our house before heading over to grandma's. Then we opened even more! I was surprised we could even see each other under all the wrapping paper! The boys got some really nice gifts from everyone. One gift was left in an envelope hidden in the tree. It was from my dad in California. So, thanks to grandpa, we are heading up north on Friday to play in the snow, shop a little in SLC, stay in a hotel and then wake up Saturday and go to the Steel Thunder Jam. It is a show full of Monster Trucks and Motocross. My boys dream! Then, to top it off, he included a pit pass for us to spend two hours before the show with the drivers and motocross riders. The boys were literally screaming when they heard this! We can't wait to on Friday! Although we just heard it is supposed to snow Saturday so we might be staying Saturday night too if the weather is too bad! Friday morning one of my sister in laws and I headed out early to find all the good deals at the sales. The boys and the kids all headed up to Pine Valley to play in the snow. What a great holiday we had! I hope everyone has a good New's Year's Eve! We are heading to First Night, if you haven't gone before, it's alot of fun, full of entertainment, fun things for the kids and good food! I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!

Christmas Programs

All three boys were in some kind of Christmas program. Tyler is in the school choir and they had a performance last night, Ryan's 2nd grade did a program and Jacob's Kindergarten did a program as well. They all did great and it was alot of fun going to watch them! I love the holidays but especially when you get to see your kids in programs! Good job boys!

Well, It's official, Jeff has completed the necessary courses and assignments towards his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Natural Resources!! It took 6 years to complete this. I was pregnant with Jacob during his first class (his class even brought me balloons in the hospital because they had class that day and Jeff missed!) and now six years later, after lots of happenings in the Warner household, kids turning 6 years older, and life just going on, he has finished! During the last 6 years there have been lots of times when we sat down and thought "Is this worth it?" A year ago he lost his dad and that had to have been the very worst semester of all but he stuck through it. He had to miss some things with the boys, but very few of them I might add! But, now today, we know why we stuck with it and why we made some sacrifices that we did throughout the way. We are a stronger family because of this 6 year ordeal! I am so proud of Jeff for being an example to our boys that no matter what, if you stick your mind to it and have the support of your family you can do anything you set your mind too! The boys are so excited for him as well. Most of Ryan's and all of Jacob's memorable life dad has been in school. One of them even said, "You mean your not going to work anymore dad?" I think they thought that school was his work! Which alot of times, it was! His senior project was on a study of a lake that was part of his responsibility for his job with the state, so really it all went hand in hand. So, because of me being so proud of him (and excited too that he doesn't have to go to another class and that he won't have to have all nighters on the computer, because I always felt guilty going to bed and leaving him out there so I slept on the couch until he went to bed!!!!) I had a dinner planned with some friends of ours. It was all a surprise to him (he says he knew, but don't believe him!) Red Robin just opened in our area so I had everyone go there and told Jeff that he and I were going to dinner. We got there and 10 of our friends were there to surprise him! All 12 of us had a fun dinner and then afterwards Jeff and I ran to get some Christmas shopping done while we had a babysitter!! Overall, it was a great night and one that Jeff will remember. Thanks to you guys who all went out with us! I know there were a few more that wanted to be there but were gone for the weekend, so thanks to everyone and way to go babe! P.S Here you go, those of you who thought I would have this up tonight!!!hahaha

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! We are headed, in just a few hours, to California for the holiday, and we'll be back Sunday night. It will be a little warmer than home but I heard it is supposed to be raining there too. We are going to be at the beach and it is always hard to be near the beach when it is raining because my boys still want to go out to the water! I'm packing their wetsuits (just in case) I know, I'm such a sucker!! :) Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend and eats lots of good food! Happy Thanksgiving!

Football Banquets

Football is officially over. Saturday night Ryan's team had a party at Jump N' Jaxs (I forgot my camera! oops) then last night Tyler's 4th grade team had a really nice banquet at a hotel. We had a full dinner, slideshow, autograph time for the boys and awards. Each boy got a trophy, a framed action picture of themselves, a cd of the slideshow, and an autographed picture of an NFL player from the Houston Texans. Our coach is friends with him and the player personalized each picture with his autograph. It was really cool! Tyler's team took second in the league and they can't wait and are already pumped to be 1st next year! All three boys did such an awesome job this year in football and were great teamates! We can't wait until next year! Way to go Warner Boyz!

Ok, so a few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go to a showing of the movie Twilight. I had heard about the series and I love movies so of course I said, "Yeah I wanna go" Her sister in law rented out the whole movie theater this Saturday morning for this movie. I thought "it had to be good if she was doing that!!" I have quite a few friends that have been into this series but I never thought about picking it up and reading it...until...last week was the book fair at our school. I was working there and another friend of mine was there too and she kept picking this book up and reading it between sales. She told me she has been reading the whole series and can't put it down! I just laughed and thought how silly some of these women are about these books. So, Friday night I ran to the store and as I was passing the book aisle I thought, "I am going to just stop and look at these Twilight books since I am going to see the movie Saturday" Well, I bought the first one, started reading it Saturday and finished it yesterday! I could not put it down!!! The only reason it even took me that long to read it was because I was sick all weekend and slept most of the time! I finished it yesterday afternoon and was at the store last night, bought the second one and am about 200 pages into it! I love it! I am so excited to go see the movie Saturday! What I'm told is that there will be about 200 other Twilight fans at this private showing and lots of my friends will be there and I can't wait!!! Thanks to all of you who pushed me a little to start this series!!!

Today was the last tackle football game. Tyler's team went as far as the playoffs and were one game shy of winning the whole thing! They lost by one touchdown today! Our team played awesome and the boys were so energetic as were the parents. We had noise makers, the cheerleaders were doing cheers and the parents were yelling right along with them. The boys (Tyler being one) even had friends from school come out and watch them play! Thanks Ang for coming and bringing Aspen and Abbie! It was so fun to be a parent at this game and watch your son play their little heart out. The boys were so upset after loosing that most were crying after the game. They wanted to win so bad! But, the whole season was so good that they should be proud of what they accomplished. We had such a great team of boys and the parents were great too. Next year the 5th grade team is going to rock!

Another 1 bites the Dust!

Last month, Jacob lost his very first tooth. It was one of the bottom middle ones. Well, today he lost the other bottom middle one! So, he has this big gap in the bottom of his teeth. He really looks cute! He likes to put his teeth together and stick his tongue through! For his first tooth, he got $5 - just because it was the first one! So, it was so funny today when he said "Cool, tomorrow morning I'm gonna have $10, when I get $5 for this tooth and add it to my money from my first tooth!" I laughed and said, well we will have to see what the tooth fairy leaves you, remember the first tooth is special and you might not get the same this time. And his response, "Mom (he said it like I had no knowledge what so ever about the tooth fairy) she's cool and thinks I'm cool too, so I'm thinking she's gonna leave me $5 again!" I just smiled.
After I took some pics of Jake with the hole in his teeth (as he calls it) the boys were playing around so cute together. Of course this was immediately after two of them got in trouble for scheming together and squirting Jeff's shaving cream in the bath water. Supposedly, they thought it would make bubbles. Note - shaving cream DOES NOT make bubbles in the bath!!

Halloween Night

This year for Halloween I let Tyler and Ryan go trick or treating by themselves. Although, they stayed in our neighborhood and the one next to ours. They walked with their friends Scott, Trevor, Zak and Zane and for the most part it all went well. They did have two cell phones between them so Heather and I felt much better about the whole thing!! Heather and I took the younger ones out and had alot of fun. We hit the whole neighborhood! Throughout the neighborhood there were houses that had activities. Jake and Zack had fun at those houses. Jake especially liked the MCArthurs who had hangars on their garage door and you had to eat a donut off without using your hands! It was fun and all three boys came home with TONS of candy! I think we might still have some left to hand out next year for Halloween! (just kidding!!!) I hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Heather, Jill and I went to Tuacahn to see "Thriller" tonight! It was so much fun. There were funny parts and some pretty scary parts too (huh Jill??? haha) In the show were characters such as Frankenstein, his bride, vampires, zombies and the one and only Lorena Bobit!! It was tons of fun, thanks for inviting me Heather and give your mom a hug for me too!!

A string on a finger really works!!

At my kids elementary school I am the PTA president and back in September we had a contest on which class could make the best poster for our Bike Parade. Another parent and I judged the posters and came up with three classes that won and we told those classes that they would receive a treat. We had checked into a few ideas for treats and none of them worked out and then other things kept coming up like the fundraiser, etc. So, last week one of the 4th grade teachers hung this sign right by our PTA box. At the top, it said something like "Dear PTA, just a reminder that we can make really cool posters" and then had a big finger with a string around it to "remind" us that they won and they still didn't have their treat. Around the finger were lots of little ribbons. This 4th grade class actually spent some time making this poster! (Their second one actually!!) So, to play along with the teacher and HIS class (not mentioning any teachers names!!!) the secretary pinned the poster to my back, and she tied pieces of string around my fingers and earrings. I walked into the class and started saying "I know there is something I need to do but can't remember what it is and why do I have all these strings around my fingers?" And then I said, "Oh yeah!! I remember now!" And I pulled out popcorn balls for all the students. They all got a kick out of the treat and me making a fool of myself! Oh well, sometimes you just gotta be silly and play along! We had football games today and I had my camera all ready in my car to take pics of the boys and then it started raining! Hard actually! And we even had some hail! So, I left my camera in the car cause I didn't want to risk it! So, then we get home and start to settle down for the night and Jake comes over to me and says "I think my tooth needs to come out" It was hanging by one thread I think! I told Jake that we needed to pull it out. He said "No way, your not touching it mom"! I whispered to Jeff to grab a paper towel and follow me. We cornered him in the bathroom and managed to get it out. Jake's comment was "It's out?" Well, another milestone for me this year. My youngest child lost his first tooth! I can't believe it! The first tooth is always so exciting! It is actually sad for me to think that I will never again have a first tooth to pull!! Unless someone needs help! Let me know, I'm an expert!!!

Flag Football, Oh my!

Jacob has started flag football. I know he has the body physique to be an outstanding football player, Coach Shaw has even said he can't wait for him to be on his football team, but at age 6, the jersey and the treats after the game are the top two things on the priority list! Don't get me wrong, he likes to play sports, but as Shondell and I sat there and watched that game all Jake did was laugh, fall on the ground, and tried to get the flag (as in the picture) off someone from the opposite team - however - that guy DID NOT have the ball! It is cute to watch them play but in a little secretive way, I am so glad that this is my last, 1st year of flag football! And don't worry Coach Shaw, we will get the game rules down by the time he gets to PV!

So, In just a few hours I will in leaving for the shuttle, heading to Las Vegas and getting on a plane for Southern California! By myself, no kids, no hubby!! I won't be back until late Monday night! I am so needing this little vacation, I know some of you know how I am feeling. I am staying with my dad and we are just going to have a fun, relaxing weekend. When I talked with him last night he said he had some plans but we are always so spontaneous we never know where we end up until we're there! We are very similiar and like the same types of things so we always have fun together. I packed both shorts and long pants because the weather there is sometimes weird and he only lives less than a mile from the beach so it can even be cooler. I will for sure take pics and post them when I get back. I hope everyone has a great weekend! P.S If you see my husband is about to loose it, stop by and tell him, "It's ok Jeff, welcome to Erin's life!!" haha (no don't say that, really, don't) Love ya all!

We decided to take our Family Night to the lake! And we invited the Sandberg's to go with us. We had so much fun! We ate pizza at some benches first and then spent some time on the boat. The kids had alot of fun, as you can see from their faces, riding the tube, playing in the water and jumping off the cliffs. Reagan had alot of fun too doing the same things!! Then, we pulled the boat out of the water, the kids caught crawdads and we all had some chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Every family night needs to be like this!! It was so much fun and we will be doing it again Sandbergs, don't you worry!!!

So, I have boys, they are all normal boys, but my youngest is the one that is going to push me overboard! Jacob is 6 and he has a mind of his own. He has opinions about life and sometimes it doesn't really matter to him that the opinion of his mom and dad might vary from his. So, as you can see from the pictures, he is a little risk taker as well. He holds on to that tube so tight and doesn't EVER let go! When it is his turn to ride the tube, we have to just eventually stop after a while because he doesn't fall off! The other boys get mad and always say he gets more time to ride! Jeff and I just sit back in the boat and laugh because he isn't going slow! He is actually pushing some high speeds. And Jacob puts his thumb up to go faster! When these pics were taken, Tyler, Ryan, Jeff and I were in the boat just laughing at Jake after he jumped the wake because the tube would land back on the water and that little thumb would go up telling us to keep it going. Ahhhh boys!

Football!!

Tyler and Ryan have both been playing tackle football. They are so cute! Alright, I know they will not want me to say that. So, they are so tough and rough! Tyler made a touchdown this week at the game, I was so proud of him and Ryan was hitting so good! I actually couldn't believe it was him! He stopped so many boys! I love watching them play their games. Of course, I love football so watching any football is fine with me, but when my boys are in the game, it's the best! Jacob starts flag football this week so I will put some pics of him up soon. See, I told you, all the pics on here are of my boys sports!! We need to have a girls night out SOON, and I will have to bring my camera! haha.

School Olympics!

Today was the school Olympics. Tyler qualified for the long distance running and he placed 2nd in the whole 4th grade!! He was so close to 1st place. He actually was 1st all the way to the end until Jake caught up to him. Tyler started getting a cramp in his leg and he just couldn't push it but he did awesome!! Jeff and I were both there cheering him on as were some of the teachers! It was a fun morning. Good job Ty!

Ok, I actually have been a blogger but hadn't updated my blog for a year and a half. So many of my girlfriends have blogs that I was finally pressured to update mine but when I went to update it, I forgot the email address and the password that I used for it over a year ago. So, I started a whole new one! Thanks Heather and Ang for getting me to start it!! I'm not sure I will be good at this considering how long ago my last post was but hopefully with some help I can have those cute pages everyone has (yes, I have been a blog stalker and have check them all out!!!) on their blog.
