Ok, so a few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go to a showing of the movie Twilight. I had heard about the series and I love movies so of course I said, "Yeah I wanna go" Her sister in law rented out the whole movie theater this Saturday morning for this movie. I thought "it had to be good if she was doing that!!" I have quite a few friends that have been into this series but I never thought about picking it up and reading it...until...last week was the book fair at our school. I was working there and another friend of mine was there too and she kept picking this book up and reading it between sales. She told me she has been reading the whole series and can't put it down! I just laughed and thought how silly some of these women are about these books. So, Friday night I ran to the store and as I was passing the book aisle I thought, "I am going to just stop and look at these Twilight books since I am going to see the movie Saturday" Well, I bought the first one, started reading it Saturday and finished it yesterday! I could not put it down!!! The only reason it even took me that long to read it was because I was sick all weekend and slept most of the time! I finished it yesterday afternoon and was at the store last night, bought the second one and am about 200 pages into it! I love it! I am so excited to go see the movie Saturday! What I'm told is that there will be about 200 other Twilight fans at this private showing and lots of my friends will be there and I can't wait!!! Thanks to all of you who pushed me a little to start this series!!!

:) I love when new people get into the series! It's fun! I AM SO FREAKING JELOUS that you get to see it saturday! :( I can't go until sunday cause my friends husband is coming home from Iraq and we're going to vegas to pick him up!
That is cool that you are going to the premier. I won't be able to attend because we are headed to Disneyland. I read all the books and I absolutely loved them. I didn't get a one thing done around my house while I was reading them. I even took them to work and read them when bosses weren't looking. I even got Dallas reading them. He is almost done with the last book.
Am I the only one that isn't into them? You were my saving grace and you gave in! Thanks alot!!!!
I haven't read them either...I honestly don't know when I can find extra time to read them. I haven't read any series for quite a while because I remember how hard it is to get things done. So with this crazy week and next crazy week turning into crazy months...who knows! hahaha!
Will you sit by me? hehehe I am so excited! What do you want to wear to it? :) lol
Welcome to the "eat crow" club! I was a skeptic all along and now I am obsessed. I have heard that they don't end particularly well, and I'm not looking forward to that. But I am looking forward to the movie.
Welcome to the club. I love love love the books and I too am so excited for the movie. It looks fantastic. Crazy that grown women get all giddy about vampires.
